How to stay involved
The examination period for Peartree Hill Solar Farm closed on 6 January 2026.
With the Examination now closed, the Examining Authority will spend the next three months preparing its recommendation to the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero. The Secretary of State will then have an additional three months to issue a final decision, expected in July 2026.
You can register for updates from the project team by filling in the form below, or you can get updates from the Planning Inspectorate by signing up here.

- Online, or downloaded free of charge, from the Peartree Hill Solar Farm page of the Planning Inspectorate’s National Infrastructure Planning website; and
