How to stay involved
The Development Consent Order application has been accepted by the Planning Inspectorate for examination. You can take part in the examination if you have registered as an interested party. Members of the public that have made a relevant representation during the relevant representation period will:
- have the right to send further comments and provide evidence during the examination of the application,
- have the right to request to speak at hearings,
- hear about events and decisions made during the process and
- hear about the progress of the application
The deadline for relevant representations was 30 May 2025 at 23.59.

The application documents can be viewed:
- Online, or downloaded free of charge, from the Peartree Hill Solar Farm page of the Planning Inspectorate’s National Infrastructure Planning website; and
- On our Documents page.
Note: During the Examination the latest documentation and submissions about the project will be available on the project page of Planning Inspectorate’s National Infrastructure Planning website.
